Mayor Reynan S. Calo welcomed SEA Games gold medalist and Ritenian taekwondo poomsae athlete Justin Kobe Macario at the Municipal Hall following his strong performance at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Thailand, where he earned one gold and one bronze medal.

The local government formally recognized Macario’s achievement, with Mayor Calo presenting Executive Order No. 25 in recognition of the honor he brought to Santa Rita and the country. The mayor reiterated the LGU’s continued support for sports development and local athletes, noting that Macario has long received encouragement and recognition even prior to his SEA Games success.

The courtesy visit concluded on a light note as Mayor Calo and Macario posed in a poomsae stance, celebrating a proud moment for Bayung Santa Rita.
