6 Clark-based companies cited for Workplace Safety Excellence

Six companies operating in Clark have been recognized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for recording zero work-related accidents in 2025, underscoring their strong commitment to workplace safety.

The awardees include SIA Engineering from the aviation sector; Montpac Global Solutions Inc. and Travel + Leisure Global Support Services Phils., Inc. from the information technology and business process management sector; and APEM Philippines Inc., Troycor Lighting Corporation, and Coronation Premium Manufacturing Inc. from the manufacturing sector.

DOLE Regional Director Geraldine Panlilio attributed the achievement to the consistent enforcement of safety protocols, strengthened preventive measures, and the promotion of a culture of vigilance within the workplace.

She emphasized that industrial peace remains a key factor in allowing businesses to grow, expand operations, and generate more employment opportunities for Filipino workers.

Panlilio also reaffirmed DOLE’s commitment to assisting industries in maintaining safe, productive, and harmonious workplaces.

“We assure you that we will do our best to promote and sustain industrial peace, as this is a vital ingredient in ensuring productive employees and companies that can grow, expand, and create more jobs for the Filipino people,” she said.

In conjunction with the recognition, newly elected officers of the Industrial Tripartite Council (ITC) were formally affirmed. The council is expected to further strengthen tripartite collaboration, enhance workplace safety, and promote fair labor practices and compliance with labor standards.

Newly elected employee representative chairperson Michelle Aguilar of BPO Global highlighted the importance of collaboration and shared learning within the council.

“I see this role as an opportunity to learn from everyone in the council so that together, we can develop policies and initiatives that keep the council relevant and responsive to the needs of today’s workforce and the new generation of employees,” Aguilar said.

Meanwhile, employee representative vice chairperson Anna Liza Torres of Amerton Incorporated expressed her commitment to actively support the council’s goals.

“On behalf of the ITC manufacturing sector, we will give our full support and commitment to fulfill the vision and mission of this council,” Torres said.
