DOST opens third Innovation Hub in Central Luzon

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has opened its third Innovation Hub (iHub) in Central Luzon at the Nueva Ecija Provincial Office in the Science City of Muñoz.

The iHub is part of DOST’s nationwide initiative to strengthen local innovation by providing a collaborative, technology-driven space where students, researchers, startups, and micro, small, and medium enterprises can connect, develop ideas, and turn concepts into practical solutions that boost regional economies.

DOST Regional Director Julius Caesar Sicat said the iHubs go beyond being mere facilities, describing them as catalysts for change.

“These embody our commitment to harness science, technology, and innovation to create opportunities, address challenges, and build a resilient and competitive Central Luzon,” Sicat said.

The establishment of the iHub in Nueva Ecija underscores DOST’s push to decentralize innovation and ensure that every province experiences what the agency calls “Agham na Ramdam.”
