BDO is only Philippine bank in ASEAN’s Top 10 most valuable banking brands

BDO Unibank has once again affirmed its regional standing after being named the only Philippine bank included in the ASEAN Top 10 Most Valuable Banking Brands, according to Brand Finance, the world’s leading brand valuation consultancy.

The recognition was conferred during the Asia Brand Gala 2025 in Singapore, highlighting BDO’s strong brand equity and sustained leadership in the banking sector. Earlier this year, BDO was also named the Philippines’ most valuable brand for the second consecutive year, with its brand value climbing 48 percent to US$3.7 billion.

The latest accolade reflects BDO’s continued commitment to enhancing customer experience, advancing financial inclusion, and maintaining operational excellence across its growing network.

Alex Haigh, Managing Director of Brand Finance Asia Pacific, said BDO’s inclusion in the ASEAN Top 10 underscores the bank’s ability to translate brand strength into tangible business performance.

“BDO’s consistent performance and strong reputation are a testament to its ability to align brand strength with business results—key pillars that continue to reinforce its leadership in the Philippine banking industry,” Haigh said.

The recognition further cements BDO’s position not only as the country’s most valuable banking brand, but also as a competitive and trusted financial institution in the broader ASEAN region.
