The first day of the 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 program on January 5, 2026 drew a large number of applicants, with more than 200 individuals served by the City Public Employment Service Office (City PESO).

The initiative is led by City PESO in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office of Tarlac Province (PESO Tarlac Province) and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), aiming to bring passport application and renewal services closer to local communities.

According to PESO Tarlac Province, a total of 500 slots were allocated for residents of Tarlac City, while another 500 slots were reserved for applicants from the rest of the province.

City PESO reminded applicants to arrive early and ensure that all required documents are complete to facilitate faster processing.
