Philippine National Police (PNP) Acting Chief PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. led a command visit to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Monday, January 12, underscoring leadership direction, operational readiness, and organizational cohesion in Central Luzon.
PLTGEN Nartatez Jr. was accorded arrival honors upon his arrival at Camp Olivas and was welcomed by PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., Regional Director of PRO3, together with the PRO3 Command Group and Regional Staff.




During the visit, the PNP Acting Chief met with key regional officers to review operational conditions, recognize PRO3’s accomplishments, and discuss priority issues affecting police performance and service delivery across the region. He highlighted the importance of leadership presence, accountability, and timely decision-making in addressing security concerns and organizational challenges.
As part of the engagement, PLTGEN Nartatez Jr. led the blessing of the newly constructed PRO3 Multipurpose Hall and Finance Building, noting the importance of modern facilities in enhancing operational efficiency, administrative functions, and personnel welfare.
He also conducted a “Talk to Men,” where he personally addressed PRO3 personnel and reiterated that discipline, integrity, and professionalism remain non-negotiable pillars of police service. This was followed by a Command Conference, during which senior officers presented regional accomplishments, assessed prevailing peace and order concerns, and outlined operational directions moving forward.
The command visit highlighted the PNP leadership’s hands-on approach in guiding field units, strengthening unity of command, and ensuring alignment between regional initiatives and national leadership priorities.
PRO3 reaffirmed its commitment to sustained readiness, disciplined leadership, and responsive policing in service of the people of Central Luzon.
