Pampanga police net drug, robbery suspects in swift operations

A series of coordinated police operations across Pampanga on January 21, 2026 led to the arrest of multiple suspects involved in illegal drugs and robbery, along with the recovery of suspected shabu and stolen items, the Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO) reported.

Under the leadership of PCOL Eugene M. Marcelo, Provincial Director, police units carried out buy-bust operations, warrant services, and follow-up arrests in several municipalities.

In City of San Fernando, joint operatives of the city police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a high-value drug personality during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bulaon at around 2:38 a.m. Authorities seized about two grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of ₱13,600. Later in the day, the San Fernando CPS Tracker Team arrested another suspect facing a drug case through the National Police Clearance System, in connection with a violation of Republic Act 9165.

In San Simon, police arrested a drug suspect during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Isidro at around 4:00 p.m., confiscating approximately one gram of suspected shabu valued at ₱6,800.

Similar anti-drug operations were conducted by the Arayat and Mexico Municipal Police Stations, resulting in the arrest of suspects in Barangay San Agustin Norte, Arayat, and Barangay Pandacaqui, Mexico. Authorities recovered 1 to 1.2 grams of suspected shabu, valued at ₱6,800 to ₱8,160, along with marked buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, Guagua Municipal Police served a warrant of arrest against an accused in a drug case at the BJMP District Jail in Barangay San Vicente, Ebus, Guagua.

In a separate operation in Sto. Tomas, police arrested a robbery suspect and recovered stolen items—including power tools, drills, welding equipment, and other machinery—worth an estimated ₱20,000 during a follow-up operation in Barangay San Matias.

Another robbery suspect was arrested in Barangay Calirocan, Gandara, Samar by Lubao Municipal Police, in coordination with the 302nd Maneuver Company and Gandara Municipal Police, in connection with a case of robbery in an uninhabited place or private building.

“Through swift arrests and the recovery of stolen property, the Pampanga Police continue to uphold public safety and justice,” PCOL Marcelo said, citing the PNP Focused Agenda and PRO3’s 3Ps—to protect the people, pursue peace and order, and promote professionalism.
