Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda was honored with a plaque of appreciation by Kiwanis International Philippine Luzon District during their 51st anniversary celebration at Royce Hotel, in recognition of her tireless service and genuine concern for the welfare of others.
Gov. Nanay served as the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the awards night, joined by 2nd District Board Member Fritzie David-Dizon and 4th District Board Member Dr. Kaye Naguit, both of whom share her commitment to meaningful and people-centered service.
In her speech, the governor lauded Kiwanis International for their life-changing initiatives, particularly their ongoing support for the youth and the strong collaboration between the private and public sectors. She emphasized that service becomes truly meaningful when it comes from the heart.
Gov. Nanay also reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring that no Kapampangan is left behind, highlighting provincial programs such as the Alagang Nanay Preventive Health Care Program, which continues to address the health needs of residents.
She closed her message by returning to the core values of being Kapampangan: compassion, bayanihan, and care for one another—principles that continue to shape a community rooted in love and cooperation.
