Pampanga First District Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. made a pitstop at the iconic ‘totobits’ stalls in Nepo Center, Angeles City, enjoying well-loved local street food while showing continued support for small businesses.
Cong Pogi was joined during the visit by Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel.
Known for his advocacy for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), Cong Pogi strengthened the city’s ‘One Town One Product’ (OTOP) Program during his term as Angeles City mayor from 2019 to 2025. Under his leadership, fees for MSME owners were waived, regular trade fairs were organized, and the OTOP store grew to accommodate 20 merchants who received 100 percent of their weekly sales from the outlet.
The city government also boosted sales by using OTOP products as tokens for official visitors, further promoting local goods.
