The Provincial Government of Pampanga extended financial assistance to residents seeking help during the People’s Day Monday duty of Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, as part of the Capitol’s continuing program to support Kapampangans facing medical and personal hardships.
Among those assisted was Lina Pangilinan of Arayat, who is undergoing long-term treatment for stage 3 breast cancer. Pangilinan received more than ₱20,000 in financial aid to help cover her medical expenses.




“Masayang-masaya ku, kasi midinan ku g makanini. Ikit kune i Nanay, mirinan kupang makanini. Eku inexpect… Nanay, dakal a dakal pung salamat king binye yu pung saup,” Pangilinan said, expressing gratitude for the assistance.
Another beneficiary, Leonora Nogoy of San Luis, received over ₱27,000 in financial assistance following the death of her father-in-law due to Myelodysplastic Syndrome. The support will also help address the medical needs of her mother-in-law, who is currently suffering from liver cirrhosis.
“Sana marami pa siyang matutulungan gaya namin na nangangailangan ng pinansyal, para ma-provide namin ang kailangan ng mga mahal sa buhay at humaba pa ang buhay nila,” Nogoy said.
In total, 30 residents with medical conditions and 34 bereaved families received financial assistance amounting to a combined ₱1.4 million during the activity.
The Provincial Government, under the leadership of Governor Pineda, reaffirmed its commitment to providing timely assistance and compassionate support to Kapampangans going through difficult circumstances.
