The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has set February 2, 2026, as the start of the manual recount for the 2025 San Fernando mayoral race.
The recount will cover all ballots from the pilot protested precincts until each vote is reviewed and revised as needed.
The directive comes under EPC No. 2025-001, issued by Comelec First Division Presiding Commissioner Aimee P. Ferolino in Manila on January 26, 2026.
