Staff members of Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. conducted an inspection at Andres M. Luciano High School in Barangay San Ildefonso to assess the proposed site for a new day care center in the area.
The inspection forms part of the congressman’s broader education infrastructure program across the First District of Pampanga.

On January 8, 2026, Lazatin announced that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) allocated ₱220 million in funding for the construction of 68 day care centers and 13 computer laboratories across the district.
The funding covers projects in Angeles City, Mabalacat City, and the municipality of Magalang, aimed at improving early childhood education facilities and strengthening digital learning resources for public school students.
The initiative is expected to help provide safer, more modern learning environments for young learners and support the district’s long-term education development goals.
