Holy Rosary Parish (HRP) has officially been granted the title of Minor Basilica by virtue of a decree issued by Pope Leo XIV.

This recognition makes Holy Rosary Parish the first Minor Basilica in the Archdiocese of San Fernando and in the Province of Pampanga, underscoring its historical, spiritual, and cultural significance to the faithful.

According to Archbishop Florentino “Dong” Lavarias, the official decree is currently at Montségur and will be picked up by representatives of Holy Rosary Parish.

Details regarding the date of the Solemn Rites of Elevation will be announced once finalized.
