The Pampanga provincial government is set to deploy its Floating Hospital to coastal barangays in the province to bring medical services closer to residents in remote communities.
Ahead of its full operation, the Provincial Health Office (PHO), led by Dr. Dax Tidula, conducted a dry run today, assisting around 60 patients who required medical attention.

Services provided during the dry run included primary laboratory services such as blood extraction, electrocardiogram (ECG), and dental services.
The floating hospital has the capacity to accommodate around 50 to 100 patients. Once fully operational, it will also offer ultrasound and X-ray services, medical consultations, minor surgical procedures, and obstetric examinations.
Provincial officials said the floating hospital is expected to stay in each coastal barangay for more than a week to help address illnesses and provide essential healthcare services to residents.
