Malacañang has dismissed a circulating report alleging that a convoy involving a presidential son was harassed by another group of vehicles reportedly registered in Bulacan.

Presidential Communications Office Secretary Dave Gomez clarified that no such incident occurred. “No such incident involving any presidential son,” Gomez said in a message to reporters late Saturday.

An online report had claimed that a three-vehicle motorcade blocked the vehicle of a “presidential son” along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), and that around 15 individuals allegedly stepped out of vehicles said to be registered in a municipality in Bulacan. The report further alleged that one passenger exited a vehicle while carrying a firearm.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos have three sons: Joseph Simon, William Vincent, and Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Ferdinand Alexander ‘Sandro’ Marcos.

Authorities have not released additional details as of posting time.
