The Angeles City Tourism Office, in partnership with the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs, successfully held “Kuwento Ni Lola,” a heartwarming culinary workshop featuring senior citizens of Angeles City at Culinarium.
The event highlighted well-loved Kapampangan dishes personally prepared and demonstrated by participating lolas.
Among them were:
- Lola Gloria Santos — Asadong Matua
- Lola Liza Cacap — Bringhe
- Lola Ofelia Pangilinan — Rellenong Bangus

More than a cooking demonstration, the workshop became a meaningful exchange between generations. Young participants gained firsthand knowledge of traditional cooking techniques, family recipes, and the rich stories behind authentic Kapampangan cuisine.

Adding depth to the celebration, Mrs. Herminia Pamintuan also shared her iconic Kapampangan Sisig, further enriching the culinary experience.
Through initiatives like “Kuwento Ni Lola,” Angeles City continues to strengthen cultural pride and heritage appreciation by honoring the flavors and traditions that define the Kapampangan identity. The activity also reinforces the city’s commitment to promoting tourism through meaningful cultural programs.
Angeleños are encouraged to continue supporting local culinary traditions and take part in activities that help preserve the city’s rich heritage for future generations.
