Globe Telecom, through Globe At Home, is strengthening its push for digital inclusion by expanding its high-speed fiber footprint and introducing more flexible connectivity solutions for Filipino households.
Positioning premium internet as an essential utility rather than a luxury, Globe is focusing on mass-market accessibility and portable technology to bring reliable connectivity to more communities nationwide.
In 2025, Globe’s home broadband business generated ₱24.0 billion in revenues, driven by its fiber-led strategy that offset the decline of legacy and fixed wireless services. Fiber services now account for 91 percent of total home broadband revenues, up from 87 percent in 2024.
The company’s broadband subscriber base grew to 2.1 million by end-2025, compared to 1.7 million the previous year. Fixed wired customers increased by 40 percent year-on-year, reflecting strong demand for stable, high-speed internet connections.
Leading Globe’s mass-market push is GFiber Prepaid, now the country’s fastest-growing prepaid fiber service, with over 820,000 subscribers as of end-2025. The offering provides high-quality internet access without long-term contracts, making it accessible to more Filipino families.
In September 2025, Globe also introduced the Globe At Home 5G WiFi device, a plug-and-play solution offering fiber-like speeds and unlimited access at home and on the go. Equipped with an Android touchscreen interface and built-in speakers, the device underscores Globe’s commitment to innovation tailored to modern, mobile lifestyles.
Globe President and CEO Carl Cruz said the company’s 2025 performance sets the stage for further expansion in 2026, with plans to scale GFiber Prepaid and Globe At Home 5G WiFi to meet evolving customer needs and empower more communities through reliable connectivity.
