In observance of National Arts Month, the Municipality of Santa Rita, through its Culture, Arts, and Tourism Group in partnership with the DepEd District of Santa Rita, successfully held Poster Making and Slogan Making Contests last week.
The events showcased the creativity and talent of young Ritenians, with ten elementary pupils and three junior high school students competing in each category.
Winners:
Slogan Making Contest
- Elementary: Audrey Denise E. Arceo (San Basilio Elementary School)
- Junior High: Jeidie Q. Magat (Ambrocio S. Simpao Educational & Trade Center of Learning – ASSET)
Poster Making Contest
- Elementary: Princess Aquisha P. Calinaya (San Basilio Elementary School)
- Junior High: Julier O. Lozano (Becuran National High School)
Judges for the contests included Public Schools District Supervisor Emily Maninang, Wilvenilo C. Calma, Vice-President of Talagambul ning Arte, Poesia at Ugaling Kapampangan (TAMPUK), and Humphrey S. Soriano of DepEd SDO Pampanga.
Mayor Reynan S. Calo personally attended the event, highlighting the local government’s ongoing commitment to programs that foster arts, culture, and youth development in Bayung Santa Rita.
