Angeles City is set to roll out a new digital platform that will allow businesses to apply for permits online, marking another step in the city’s push toward smarter and more efficient government services.
The city government will soon launch the Electronic Business Permit and Licensing System (e-BPLS), an in-house online application system developed by the Angeles City Information and Communications Technology Division (ICTD) in collaboration with the Business Permit and Licensing Division and other local government offices.
Once operational, the system will allow business owners to process permit applications through a streamlined digital platform designed to make transactions faster and more convenient.
Through the EBPLS, users will be able to:
- Apply for business permits online
- Submit required documents digitally
- Track the status of their applications in real time
- Access a more user-friendly and accessible system
City officials said the new platform is expected to modernize the permitting process and improve the ease of doing business in Angeles City by reducing paperwork and minimizing in-person transactions.
The launch of the system is part of the city government’s ongoing digitalization efforts to provide faster, more transparent, and more accessible public services for entrepreneurs and investors.
The Angeles City Government is expected to announce the official launch date of the EBPLS soon.
