McDonald’s invites fans to ‘Tastify’ love for Chicken McDo

McDonald’s Philippines is encouraging customers to “tastify” their love for its napakasarap, napakacrispy, at napakajuicy Chicken McDo as the fast-food giant continues to strengthen its presence in the bone-in fried chicken category.

According to Ada Almendras-Lazaro, Chief Marketing Officer of McDonald’s Philippines, the company has enhanced its fried chicken offering over the past two years by introducing a bigger, juicier, and crispier Chicken McDo that has increasingly become a favorite among Filipino consumers.

“We’ve really upped our fried chicken game for the past two years by introducing a bigger, juicier, crispier and more shareable Chicken McDo, which is increasingly being well-loved and is becoming the fried chicken of choice for many Filipinos,” Almendras-Lazaro said, noting that the company wants to celebrate fans who share their appreciation for the product online.

The company said Chicken McDo’s crispiness and juiciness come from improvements in its preparation process. Chicken pieces are cooked in smaller batches to ensure they are fried evenly, while an updated marination method allows the seasoning to fully penetrate each piece.

McDonald’s said these refinements are aimed at ensuring that every serving delivers a satisfying experience for customers.

“We are dedicated to making sure each Chicken McDo experience satisfies our customers, so that they can confidently recommend it to their friends and loved ones,” Almendras-Lazaro added.

The Chicken McDo meal is available for P99 for one piece with rice and a regular drink. Starting March 6, customers may also try the new one-piece Chicken McDo meal with rice, drink, and a sundae cone.

Customers can enjoy Chicken McDo through dine-in, takeout, drive-thru, and delivery via McDelivery, GrabFood, and Foodpanda.
