Officials of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Zone 3 reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening basketball development across Central Luzon through unified leadership and collaboration.

The regional leadership team is headed by Zone Director Virgilio A. Cortez, together with Assistant Zone Directors and key officials tasked to lead various development programs in the region.

Among them are Michael Tolentino, a FIBA commissioner who oversees technical development, Mark Solano, FIBA technical director for talent identification and players development, and Kalvin Kiel Sangalang, who heads the coaches development program.

They are joined by provincial and city directors across Central Luzon who work collectively to advance the organization’s grassroots and development initiatives.

SBP Zone 3 officials said their efforts are focused on developing players, training technical officials, empowering coaches, and strengthening basketball programs in provinces and cities throughout the region.

Through collaboration and shared leadership, the group continues to work toward a common goal of helping elevate the future of Philippine basketball.
