The Sinukwan Kapampangan Training Center for the Arts invites the public to take part in a meaningful Lenten experience with the return of “Panata at Panalangin XV,” a signature dance-drama that continues to highlight Pampanga’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.
Now on its 15th year, the production goes beyond a stage performance, offering what organizers describe as a “healing journey for the soul.” Under the artistic direction of Peter A. De Vera, the presentation blends contemporary dance, traditional Kapampangan music, and visual storytelling to reflect themes of repentance, sacrifice, and resilience.
Dubbed as a “Kapampangan pilgrimage of the soul,” the production brings together some of the region’s finest performing artists, creating a reflective space that connects the deep-rooted faith of past generations with the present-day community.
For over a decade, Panata at Panalangin has remained a vital expression of Lenten devotion in Pampanga, fostering both cultural pride and spiritual renewal.
The event is free and open to the public, with organizers encouraging everyone to witness and take part in this enduring tradition. Staging schedules and venues are available in the official event poster.
