Staff of Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. visited various communities in Angeles City to distribute biscuits and juice as part of the annual Pabasa observance for Holy Week 2026.
A total of 3,000 cans of biscuits and 3,000 packs of juice were handed out to 87 barangays across Pampanga’s First District, covering Angeles City, Mabalacat City, and Magalang.

The distribution has been a long-standing tradition of Lazatin since his term as Angeles City councilor in 2013. The initiative traces its roots to his father, Carmelo ‘Tarzan’ Lazatin, who first started the practice.
In Angeles City, the activity was led by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel, and senior staff member Mike Lising, with the support of Councilor Arvin Suller and ABC President Dan Nacu.

The initiative aims to support devotees participating in the traditional chanting of the Passion of Christ during the Lenten season.
