The Angeles City government, through the Angeles City Tourism Office, successfully staged “Ing Kalbaryo at Pamamaku” (Crucifixion of Christ) the reenactment of the suffering and death of Jesus Christ, on Good Friday, April 3, 2026.
The reenactment traced the journey from Sapang Bato Terminal along Henson Street in Barangay Lourdes North West to Golgotha near Pampang Market, depicting the suffering and death of Jesus Christ—an enduring symbol of His love and sacrifice for humanity.

GMA Sparkle artist Yasser Marta led the cast as Jesus Christ, delivering a moving performance that deeply resonated with the audience. The production was mounted by the award-winning Siete Palabras team of Barangay Lourdes North West, under the direction of Jayson Pabalan, with support from Uyat Artista and local performers.
The presentation brought to life the passion, mercy, and love of Christ, leaving a profound impact on Angeleños and visitors who gathered for the annual tradition.
More than a cultural event, the reenactment served as a moment of solemn reflection and unity, reminding the community of the depth of Christ’s sacrifice.
