Angeles City intensifies crackdown on illegal drug sales

The Angeles City government has intensified its monitoring efforts against the illegal sale of regulated medicines under the leadership of Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II.

Four male minors and one adult woman were reportedly caught selling medicines without proper prescriptions, including Viagra, unidentified “yellow pills,” and suspected illegal drugs.

In coordination with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), Angeles City Tourist Information and Visitors Engagement (ACTIVE), Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD), City Health Office (CHO), at City Sanitary Office, authorities immediately conducted intervention and informed the individuals of possible violations involving the unauthorized sale of regulated medicines and lack of sanitary and business permits.

The Angeles City government emphasized the importance of strict enforcement of health regulations and urged residents to remain vigilant in helping maintain public safety and community health.
