Mayor Carmelo Lazatin II extended his heartfelt congratulations to two outstanding Angeleñas from City College of Angeles for bringing pride and honor to the city after earning top spots in the 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
Maureen Capili Cortez, a graduate of Bachelor of Special Needs Education Class of 2025, secured Rank 7 in the nationwide examination, while Alyana Jem Pangan Ramos, a Bachelor of Physical Education graduate of the same batch, landed at Rank 9.


Mayor Lazatin praised the two new educators for their remarkable achievement, saying their success reflects the dedication, excellence, and determination of the youth of Angeles City.
He added that the accomplishment of Cortez and Ramos not only brings pride to their families and alma mater, but also serves as an inspiration to fellow students and aspiring professionals in the city.
The city government also encouraged the youth to continue pursuing their dreams and to use education as a pathway toward a brighter future.
