Cebu Pacific named most punctual Philippine carrier in April 2026

Cebu Pacific was recognized as the most punctual Philippine carrier in April 2026 and ranked fifth overall among Asia-Pacific airlines in terms of on-time performance (OTP).

Based on data from London-based aviation analytics firm Cirium, the airline posted an 84.98-percent on-time arrival rate across more than 12,000 flights systemwide during the month.

Cirium’s OTP review, considered one of the aviation industry’s longest-running punctuality assessments, measures airline performance based on aircraft arrival times. Flights are classified as on time when they arrive at the gate within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival.

Javier Massot, Cebu Pacific chief operations officer, said the recognition reflects the discipline and teamwork of the airline’s workforce across its network.

He added that the airline remains focused on delivering operational excellence to provide passengers with a smooth and reliable travel experience.

As part of its continued push for operational efficiency, Cebu Pacific recently inaugurated the Cebu Pacific Training Academy, a purpose-built training facility designed to provide hands-on and experience-based instruction for aspiring aviation professionals.

The facility also aims to strengthen service consistency and operational readiness as the airline expands its operations.

The airline likewise upgraded its Network Control Center into the Cebu Pacific Operations Control Center to improve crisis and disruption preparedness and support a more integrated and digital-first approach to operational management.

Cebu Pacific currently operates flights to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
