The City Agriculture Office conducted a silage making activity at the Agriculture Compound as part of efforts to strengthen livestock production and promote sustainable farming practices in the city, in line with the continuing support of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II for the agriculture sector.

Silage making is a method of processing and storing animal feed to ensure a steady supply of nutritious fodder for livestock, especially during the rainy season when fresh grass becomes scarce and feed availability is affected.
The initiative aims to assist local farmers and livestock raisers in maintaining healthy livestock conditions while strengthening food security and agricultural sustainability in Angeles City.
Through programs like this, the city continues to promote modern farming techniques to support the livelihood of Angeleño farmers and further develop the local agriculture sector.
