Magalang Mayor Malu Paras-Lacson has expressed full support for Kapampangan representative Mrs. Fatima Figueroa Alvarez as she prepares to compete in Mrs. Universe Philippines 2026.
Prior to the pageantβs finals night scheduled on June 28, 2026 at The Manila Hotel, Alvarez paid a courtesy visit to the mayorβs office where she was warmly received.
Alvarez, a businesswoman and philanthropist known for her advocacy work supporting women persons deprived of liberty, children with disabilities, and Indigenous communities, received encouragement from Mayor Lacson ahead of the national competition.
Mayor Lacson described Alvarez as an inspiration to women, noting her continued service and humanitarian efforts despite her age.
Alvarez will represent Pampanga in the prestigious national pageant finals, with strong support from her hometown leaders and community.
