Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda, joined by Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II, personally extended condolences and support to the families affected by the incident in Balibago.

The provincial and city governments continue to closely coordinate to ensure that all necessary assistance reaches the affected families. Among the support being provided are financial aid, psychosocial interventions, and other forms of assistance from concerned government agencies as operations in the area continue.

Gov. Nanay and Mayor Jon emphasized their continued unity and commitment to the welfare of the victims’ families amid the ongoing situation, assuring that support and care will remain in place throughout the recovery process.

In a separate but related activity, Governor Pineda and Mayor Lazatin also joined responders and officials in a solemn prayer and site blessing at the incident area. The gathering served as a moment of reflection and solidarity for the victims, their families, and all personnel involved in the ongoing operations.

Amid grief and difficulty, government officials and responders offered prayers for strength, healing, and hope for everyone affected by the tragedy.
