The Tarlac provincial government officially opened the celebration of the province’s 153rd founding anniversary on May 28, coinciding with the observance of National Flag Day.

The celebration began with a flag-raising ceremony and a holy mass attended by local officials, employees, and residents.

As part of the program, historian Lino Dizon shared insights on the rich history, heritage, and identity of the Province of Tarlac.

Officials highlighted that for 153 years, the province has continued to uphold unity, pride, and a shared vision for a more progressive future for Tarlaqueños.
