714 Tarlac families graduate from 4Ps, receive livelihood support

A total of 714 beneficiaries in Tarlac City have graduated from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), marking a significant milestone in their journey toward self-sufficiency and a more stable future for their families.

To support their transition from the program, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in partnership with the Tarlac City Government led by Mayor Susan Yap and various public and private sector partners, conducted the 4Ps Pagtataguyod Roadshow: Hatid Serbisyo, Hatid Pag-asa at the Tarlac City Convention Hall on June 1.

The roadshow provided graduating beneficiaries with access to a wide range of employment, livelihood, training, health, and social services.

Employment and Livelihood Opportunities

  • Public Employment Service Office (PESO) TUPAD – 286 beneficiaries
  • Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) – 232 beneficiaries
  • Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Government Internship Program (GIP) referrals and TUPAD – 81 beneficiaries
  • Strike Gold Realty Development Corp. (4PH) – 42 sales agent applicants
  • ABOITIZ – 10 construction worker applicants
  • NVO Manpower – 16 applicants
  • Foundever – 23 applicants

Skills Training and Education

  • Interword Asian Institute Inc. – 25 slots for free tuition
  • TCLASS Candy-Making Training – 25 slots
  • TCLASS Gourmet-Making Training – 25 slots

Social and Health Services

  • Eye Center services – 150 beneficiaries
  • Provincial Health Office/Tarlac Provincial Hospital medical mission – 91 recipients of free medicines
  • Commission on Population and Development (CPD) – 12 beneficiaries for family planning seminars and contraceptive services
  • CSWDO Solo Parent registration – 20 registrants
  • OSCA registration – 42 registrants
  • Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) National ID registration – 44 registrants
  • Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) business registration assistance – 19 beneficiaries

The activity underscored the government’s commitment to helping 4Ps graduates become self-reliant through continued access to livelihood opportunities, employment assistance, and essential services as they move toward a more prosperous future.
