CCA achieves full accreditation for all degree programs

The City College of Angeles (CCA) has achieved a major academic milestone after receiving accreditation for six additional degree programs from the Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA), bringing all 13 of its academic offerings under accredited status.

The newly accredited programs are Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics, Bachelor of Special Needs Education, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System, and Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies.

The accreditation was formally conferred by ALCUCOA President and Executive Director Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega in recognition of CCA’s commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

Angeles City Mayor and CCA Board of Trustees Chairman Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II, along with college administrators and academic deans, received the accreditation certificates during the conferment ceremony.

With all 13 degree programs now ALCUCOA-accredited, CCA further strengthens its mission of providing quality, accessible, and globally competitive higher education for Angeleños.

The achievement also reflects the collective efforts of the institution’s administrators, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners in fostering academic excellence and producing competent, future-ready graduates.
