The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Fact-Finding Committee convened a conference on June 5, 2026, as part of its ongoing investigation into the collapse of a nine-story building project along Oak Street in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City.
Held at the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) Conference Room on the third floor of Angeles City Hall, the meeting gathered key officials and representatives from various government agencies involved in the response and investigation.





Among those present were Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II, Angeles City Police Office Director PCOL Joselito E. Villarosa Jr., members of the Regional Unified Command and Management System (RO-UCMS), and authorized representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO), Office of the City Building Official, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and other concerned government agencies.
The conference forms part of DOLE’s efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and gather information relevant to the ongoing investigation.
Authorities continue to coordinate with concerned agencies as investigations and recovery efforts related to the building collapse proceed.
