The Angeles City Government continues to strengthen community safety through ongoing tree trimming and hazard mitigation operations in various parts of the city under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II.
The operations were led by the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO) and the Environmental Management System (EMS), in coordination with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), to address reports of fallen trees and large branches that pose risks to residents and motorists.

As part of the city’s disaster prevention and mitigation program, concerned offices immediately responded to ensure the safety of public spaces, schools, major roads, and other facilities frequently used by Angeleños.
Among the hazards cleared were fallen trees and branches in Barangays Ninoy Aquino, Sta. Trinidad, Pampang, and Pulung Cacutud. The operations helped prevent potential accidents and reduce risks brought about by adverse weather conditions.
The activities were conducted in accordance with existing environmental guidelines and regulations to ensure that public safety measures remain balanced with the protection of the environment and the preservation of the city’s urban greenery.
The local government also encourages Angeleños to remain vigilant and promptly report trees or branches that may pose hazards so that appropriate action can be taken at the earliest opportunity.
