The dredging and deepening of water channels in portions of Barangay Sabanilla have been completed following flash floods caused by heavy rains last week.
The project was immediately ordered by Mayor Rodencio “Ruding” S. Gonzales as part of the municipal government’s efforts to address flooding concerns in the area.
Local officials said the completed works are expected to improve water flow and reduce the risk of flooding, particularly during the rainy season.

The Municipal Government of Mexico, under the leadership of Mayor Gonzales, together with Vice Mayor Doc Pangan and the Sangguniang Bayan, continues to implement measures aimed at strengthening disaster preparedness and ensuring the safety of communities throughout the municipality.
