The Sangguniang Panlungsod has passed Resolution No. 12476, Series of 2026, recognizing and congratulating Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II for being named the Top 2 Performing City Mayor in Central Luzon with an 84.3% performance rating in the latest RPMD survey.

The resolution, introduced by Vice Mayor Amos B. Rivera and unanimously approved by the City Council, cited the public’s trust and confidence in Mayor Lazatin, as well as his continued commitment to honest, efficient, and responsive public service.

Mayor Lazatin said the recognition belongs not only to him but also to the entire Angeles City Government, its employees, and every Angeleño who continues to support the city’s programs and initiatives.

He added that the recognition serves as an inspiration to further strengthen the delivery of honest, efficient, and compassionate public service while continuing programs aimed at improving the quality of life of Angeleños.
