The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office III (DSWD FO3) distributed ₱5.7 million in assistance to 500 beneficiary families in Guiguinto, Bulacan under Project LAWA at BINHI (PLAB).
Implemented through the Risk Resiliency Program–Cash for Training and Work (RRP-CFTW), the initiative enabled residents to complete 20 days of Cash-for-Training and Cash-for-Work, with each beneficiary receiving ₱11,400 in compensation.
DSWD FO3 said the project promotes communal gardening, protects local water sources, and helps strengthen food and water security while supporting climate resilience in local communities.
