The Municipal Government of Arayat conducted a clean-up drive at Barangay Lacquios Creek as part of its continuing efforts to promote a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable environment.
The activity was led by Mayor Jeffrey M. Luriz together with Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer Engr. Virgilio A. Puyat Jr. It was carried out with the support of the PENRO Estero Rangers, the Barangay Government of Lacquios, partner agencies, and community volunteers.
The clean-up drive aimed to keep creeks and waterways free of waste, help prevent flooding, and protect the municipality’s natural resources through collective community action.
The local government said the initiative reflects the importance of cooperation between government agencies and residents in preserving the environment. It also reaffirmed its commitment to implementing programs that promote environmental protection and ensure a cleaner, safer, and more progressive Arayat for future generations.
