The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) arrested a 42-year-old robbery suspect in a swift hot pursuit operation following the reported abduction and robbery of a woman.
Police said the victim was waiting inside her vehicle to pick up her niece from school when the suspect forcibly entered the driver’s side, restrained her with duct tape over her face and her hands tied, and took her personal belongings before driving away.
The victim was later abandoned in Paniqui, Tarlac, where she sought help from residents and authorities, while the suspect fled.
Through coordinated police operations and information gathered during the investigation, ACPO personnel tracked down and arrested the suspect, who is now under police custody and facing appropriate criminal charges.
ACPO Director PCOL Joselito E. Villarosa Jr. lauded the operating units for their prompt response, saying the successful operation reflects the police force’s commitment to protecting the public and bringing offenders to justice.
