BizConEx boosts Tarlac MSMEs

The 4th Tarlac Business Conference and Expo (BizConEx) brought together entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, students, and industry leaders to strengthen business resiliency and help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) adapt to a changing market.

Held from July 15 to 16, the two-day event featured business forums, workshops, and networking activities focused on innovation, digital marketing, food safety, energy solutions, business transformation, and pitching opportunities.

Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI)-Tarlac President Aileen Chan encouraged entrepreneurs to view industry challenges as opportunities for innovation and collaboration.

Among the event’s highlights was the ceremonial commitment signing for the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Philippines Program, reaffirming the commitment of local government units, government agencies, and private sector partners to promote products that showcase the unique identity and strengths of their communities.

A regional trade fair featuring products from across Central Luzon also gave MSMEs opportunities to expand their markets and establish new business connections.

Department of Trade and Industry Regional Director Edna Dizon said the conference strengthened collaboration between the government and private sector in supporting MSMEs and advancing programs that will help local enterprises become more competitive and future-ready.

The event aligns with the national government’s push to promote inclusive economic growth and strengthen MSMEs as key drivers of employment and regional development.
