Lalamove is giving Filipino commuters another option for getting around through Lalamove Ride, its passenger transport service integrated into the same app used for deliveries.
The service aims to address common ride-hailing challenges such as long waits, driver cancellations, and limited vehicle availability during peak hours. Lalamove said its network includes nearly 20,000 qualified ride-hailing partner drivers, helping expand ride availability during periods of high demand.
Launched in February 2025, Lalamove Ride allows users to book passenger trips without downloading a separate app. Commuters can choose between Car and Car XL, with service available across Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, and selected areas of Pampanga and Tarlac.
Lalamove Managing Director Djon Nacario said the company aims to make rides more accessible and dependable by leveraging its existing driver network and technology.
The company also said qualified partner drivers can keep 100% of their fares, with the zero-commission initiative extended through the end of 2026.
Lalamove Ride features driver registration, real-time GPS tracking, 24/7 in-app chat, an SOS emergency button, and accident insurance from Chubb.
Passengers and partner drivers can also join separate raffle promotions running until September 30, 2026, offering prizes including trips to Japan and Boracay and weekly cash rewards.
