Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II has reaffirmed the city government’s commitment to the observance of Anti-Human Trafficking Month through strengthened awareness and advocacy efforts.
Led by the Gender and Development Office and the City Social Welfare and Development Office, the campaign carries the theme, “Isang Nasyon, Isang Aksyon: Tapusin ang Human Trafficking Ngayon.”
The initiative seeks to protect the rights and welfare of Angeleños by preventing human trafficking, raising public awareness, and providing assistance to victims and vulnerable sectors. The city government, partner agencies, and the community continue to work together to create a safer environment free from exploitation and abuse.
