New Dialysis Center opens in Mexico

The DialyPlus Dialysis Center in Barangay Santa Cruz, Mexico, Pampanga was formally inaugurated on Thursday, July 23, 2026, expanding access to dialysis services in the municipality.

The inauguration was led by Mayor Rodencio “Ruding” S. Gonzales, Pampanga 3rd District Representative Congresswoman Mica Gonzales, Vice Mayor Dr. Jonathan R. Pangan, and Angeles City Vice Mayor Amos Rivera.

DialyPlus founder Albert Lagman said the facility is the fourth DialyPlus Center in Pampanga, aimed at bringing quality dialysis services closer to patients who need them.

Congresswoman Mica Gonzales highlighted the growing number of dialysis patients in the country and called for stronger public health efforts to help prevent kidney disease.

The Mexico municipal government and DialyPlus are also exploring a possible Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to expand dialysis services, particularly as the Mexico Community Hospital has limited capacity. If finalized, qualified PhilHealth members may be able to receive dialysis treatment at no cost.

Mayor Ruding also urged residents to adopt healthier lifestyles and proper eating habits to help prevent kidney disease, while the local government continues to pursue partnerships that will expand access to quality and affordable healthcare services.
