P-Pop powerhouse SB19 has been named the Philippines’ newest Tourism Ambassadors, giving the country’s tourism campaign a global boost through the group’s growing international influence and dedicated fanbase.
The Department of Tourism (DOT) recognized the quintet for its role in showcasing Filipino culture and talent, with the group set to encourage A’TIN worldwide to visit the Philippines and experience its rich heritage firsthand.
The partnership comes as SB19 reaches new international milestones. The group is set to become the first Filipino act to perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago on July 30, following its historic ceremonial first pitch at a Major League Baseball game on July 29.
With A’TIN communities across the United States, Europe, ASEAN, and other parts of the world, SB19’s global reach is seen as a powerful platform for promoting the Philippines as a tourism destination.
The group is also scheduled to perform at Summer Sonic 2026 in Osaka and Tokyo alongside fellow Filipino act BINI, also recently named a Tourism Ambassador.
Through the partnership, the DOT and SB19 aim to turn the group’s global influence into meaningful cultural connections and inspire more international visitors to discover the Philippines.
