A 22-year-old construction worker listed as San Simon’s Top 7 Municipal Most Wanted Person was arrested in Northern Samar on August 1, 2026, on a warrant for attempted homicide.

The San Simon Municipal Police Station (MPS), with assistance from the San Roque Municipal Police Station and Northern Samar Provincial Intelligence Unit, arrested the suspect around 7:35 p.m. in Barangay Bantayan, San Roque.

The warrant was issued by the MCTC Third Judicial Region, Apalit-San Simon, Pampanga, in connection with Criminal Case No. 25-70, with bail set at ₱72,000.

Pampanga police Acting Provincial Director PCOL Ricardo M. David credited the successful arrest to effective coordination among police units across regions and vowed to intensify the campaign against wanted persons.
