Lazatin gives PPEs to COVID-19 medical frontliners
To further ensure the welfare of medical frontliners, the Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., on March 16, 2022 provided a total of 1,850 pieces of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to all the nursing stations at Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center.
City Nutrition Officer-in-Charge Jermaine Jam Aguila represented Mayor Lazatin during the distribution of PPEs.
It can be recalled that Mayor Lazatin has been distributing reusable PPEs to public and private hospitals in the city.
The said PPEs were produced through the Angeleño First Alternative Livelihood Program launched by the city government amid the pandemic.
The livelihood program aims to provide an alternative sustainable livelihood project, produce reusable PPEs and facemasks for the campaign to preserve the environment, and give the city government its own protective equipment for the city’s health workers in lieu of purchasing, says Lazatin.
