Balibago Waterworks keeps water flowing

Balibago Waterworks continued providing water services and distributing safe drinking water to communities affected by heavy rains and flooding across Pampanga.

Despite deep flooding in low-lying areas including Minalin, Apalit, San Luis, San Simon, and Macabebe, company personnel remained on the ground to deliver potable water, repair pumps affected by floodwaters, and assist disaster-hit communities.

Throughout August, Balibago Waterworks and its subsidiary, Balipure, intensified their relief efforts by distributing bottled water to affected municipalities and evacuation centers.

In San Simon alone, the company distributed bottled water to Barangays Sta. Monica and Sto. Niño, 19 evacuation centers, and other barangays. Assistance was also extended to communities in Angeles City, Sta. Rita, Porac, and Minalin.

Additional deliveries are scheduled for Apalit, Macabebe, Sto. Tomas, Sta. Ana, Arayat, and Magalang this week.

“Our customers and the communities within our service areas are our priority. In the midst of calamities and severe flooding, it is very important for Balibago Waterworks to continue supplying clean and safe water to our customers,” Balibago Waterworks President Criselle P. Alejandro said.

Alejandro added that the company will continue working with local governments to maintain water services and provide safe drinking water to communities affected by flooding and severe weather.

The continuing initiative underscores Balibago Waterworks’ commitment to keeping essential water services operational while supporting communities during calamities.
