Gratitude poured out for the MVP Tulong Kapatid Relief Operations as various forms of assistance were delivered to flood-affected communities in the province.
Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda personally received the donations from representatives of the participating foundations, led by PLDT-Smart Foundation President Esther Santos, One Meralco Foundation President Jeffrey O. Tarayao, Metro Pacific Investments Foundation President Melody Del Rosario, and TV5 Alagang Kapatid Foundation Executive Director Menchie Silvestre.
The relief assistance included 1,000 food packs from One Meralco Foundation, another 1,000 food packs from PLDT-Smart Foundation, and 500 food packs from Alagang Kapatid Foundation.
Metro Pacific Investments Foundation also provided 150 food boxes for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs), while Maynilad donated purified drinking water sufficient for 300 people.
SMART likewise provided free load and data, as well as a charging station, to help residents affected by the flooding stay connected and maintain communication during the crisis.
Relief assistance was also distributed in the municipalities of Apalit, Macabebe, and Mexico as part of the group’s continuing efforts to support communities affected by the disaster.
The provincial government expressed its appreciation for the organizations’ generosity and solidarity with Kapampangans during a difficult time.
The assistance, it said, demonstrated the true spirit of being Kapatid — standing together and extending a helping hand when it matters most.
“Dakal pung salamat, MVP Tulong Kapatid!”
