NLEX personnel have begun clearing Lane 3 of the Tulaoc section as flood mitigation and recovery operations continue in the area.

Water levels in the protected section have dropped to just 1.5 centimeters in the northbound lane, while other portions of the expressway are already dry.

However, floodwaters remain high in nearby communities and roads adjacent to the expressway, underscoring the extent of flooding in surrounding areas.

Two lanes in the Tulaoc section are currently open to traffic, with vehicles moving smoothly. Clearing and flood mitigation operations remain ongoing as NLEX works to restore full lane access.
